Health notice. Pulse is never meant to replace or override a clinician's advice.
Pulse is a habit tool, not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If a clinician has given you a fluid limit or target, follow it, and tell Pulse so it never asks you for more. Headache, nausea or confusion after drinking a lot of water can be a sign of low sodium. Seek medical care.
Who we are
Ghydion Pulse ("Pulse") is a free hydration app from Ghydion Co. ("Ghydion", "we", "us"), whose mailing address is 1779 Kirby Pkwy #10086, Memphis, TN 38138. Questions: support@ghydion.com.
By ticking "I agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy" when you sign up, you agree to these terms. Our Pulse Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain what Pulse keeps and your choices.
Who can use Pulse
- You must be 18 or over.
- Pulse is offered only in the United States.
- Use Pulse for yourself. Don't pretend to be someone else.
Using Pulse safely
- Pulse suggests a daily goal and a steady pace. They're general guides, not advice for your body. You decide what and how much to drink.
- Never drink more than feels right to reach a goal, keep a streak or win a race with friends. A streak, a flame or a badge is never worth it.
- If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, unwell, or have a heart, kidney or other condition, ask your clinician what's right for you.
Friends and groups
- Be kind. Don't harass, threaten or pressure anyone, including to drink more.
- Notes and names must not include links, contact details, hate, or anything sexual or illegal.
- Groups are for adults 18 and over. You can block or report anyone. If these rules are broken, we may limit an account, or rename or close a group.
Community rules
Pulse has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't send notes, names or group names that harass, threaten, demean or sexualize anyone, or that contain hate speech or slurs. Pulse filters these before they're sent, but you can block anyone, and you can report a note, a person or a group from the app.
We review reports within 24 hours, against the note Pulse's server stored, not a copy. If a report shows these rules were broken:
- the first time, you can't type notes for 7 days (preset cheers still work);
- the second time, for 30 days;
- the third time, your account is suspended.
Threats, sexual content aimed at someone, and hate speech lead to suspension straight away. A suspended account can't share, cheer, add friends or take part in groups, and is removed from other people's friends and groups. We never tell anyone who reported them. If you think we got it wrong, contact support@ghydion.com and we'll look again.
Free, with no ads
Pulse is free and has no ads. Optional paid features may come later. If they do, we'll show the price and the terms before you pay.
Your data
Your data is yours. Settings › Your data › Delete my data erases it on this phone and on our server, as the Pulse Privacy Policy explains. You can stop using Pulse at any time.
Fair use
Don't try to break, overload, copy or misuse Pulse or its server, or get at anyone else's data.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Pulse running and accurate, but it's provided as it is. It may sometimes be unavailable, lose a reminder, or get something wrong.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you in Pulse before they take effect.
