We want everyone to be able to use ghydion.com and the Pulse app, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We're not there everywhere yet, and this page says where we stand.
What we've done
- Zoom. You can pinch to zoom in the Pulse app and on every page of our site.
- Keyboard. Pulse's start screen works with a keyboard: press Tab, then Enter or Space. Form fields on our homepage show a clear outline when you move to them with a keyboard.
- Contrast. We made the small print on our homepage larger and easier to read, so it meets the WCAG contrast level for text.
- Alt text. Images that carry meaning have text alternatives for screen readers.
- Reduced motion. When your device's Reduce Motion setting is on, Pulse calms its animations, except the water in the Home bubble, which always moves gently. Many animations on our homepage stop too.
Known limits
- Some animations, like the product videos on our homepage and the moving water in Pulse, aren't fully described for screen readers yet.
- The pictures of phone screens on our homepage include small labels that are part of the picture and don't meet the contrast level for text.
- The Pulse app is in active development. New screens can have gaps before we find and fix them.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on our site or in Pulse is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email support@ghydion.com. Tell us the page or screen and what happened. We'll respond within 5 business days.
