Join Our Community Capital Initiative

Through our Community Capital Initiative, we aim to raise $65,000 in development funds. We are inviting the people who believe in us, have watched this vision grow from a napkin sketch to a working prototype, and want to play a meaningful role in helping Ghydion cross this threshold.  Spanx, Under Armour and GoPro, are just a few of the many successful companies that began with similar small community backing initiatives.

This seed capital from friends and family will fund the remaining product and App development expenses. Once the Development Phase is complete the Ghydion Gallon will be ready for Production and Fulfillment. The added bonus is that the completion of the Development Phase, makes us more investable and attractive to licensing partners.

What is The Ghydion Gallon

  • A patented smart gallon with a removable smart base
  • Uses gamification and behavioral science to build hydration habits
  • Features a modular, expandable design
  • Supported by a companion app Ghydion Pulse, with future unlockable features
  • Premium positioning at a $164 price point

The Problem We’re Solving

Adequate hydration isn’t solved by better containers—it’s achieved through better habits. Most products measure ounces, not behavior, and do little to help people build consistent hydration patterns. The result is costly:

  • Employers see fatigue, reduced focus, and preventable health risks
  • Athletes struggle with performance and recovery
  • Consumers do “everything right” and still fall short

Ghydion bridges the gap between knowing hydration matters and consistently achieving it. This isn’t a knowledge gap—it’s a “habit gap”, and Ghydion was designed to close it.

The Founder's Close Call

While serving in the U.S. Air Force in the desert heat of Qatar, Donovan experienced severe heat exhaustion. He was gulping water when he felt thirsty, yet his body was still dehydrated.  In a setting where hydration directly affected his safety and performance, one truth became clear: Interval drinking is the proper hydration strategy, versus only drinking when your you feel thirsty. At the point of thirst, you are already dehydrated.
